Intricate savory aromas of bay leaf, spearmint and sour cherries lead to vibrant red cherries, cranberries and basil flavors in this complex and fascinating wine. Beautiful balance, textural tannins and a slight sense of restraint keep you coming back for more. Best from 2025–2032.
The Terra de Promissio vineyard is located outside Petaluma, California, where the Sonoma Coast AVA and Petaluma Gap AVA overlap. “Terra” in Latin means “The Land”. Terra de Promissio has an ideal terroir for Pinot Noir grapes. The soil, southwest sun exposure, hill elevation, vine density and the wind and fog of the Petaluma Gap allow the Terra de Promissio grapes to have a slow maturation, extended hang time which allows optimum ripeness. These are ideal conditions for Pinot Noir grapes that makes exceptional and age-worthy wines.
