2023 Waypoint Terra di Promissio Vineyard Pinot Noir

One of Sonoma's most iconic Pinot Noir vineyards, the Terra de Promissio Vineyard is located east of Petaluma in the Petaluma Gap. This cool and windswept site is defined by southwest exposure, elevation, and proximity to the ocean. Due to the cool and windy conditions, this vineyard requires longer hang-time to ensure optimum ripeness. Red fruits, orange peel, dried herbs, and rose and lavender aromas lead, with hints of tobacco and salinity. Layered and savory on the palate, with fine grained and precise tannins. Persistent, savory finish.
