2023 Waypoint Bien Nacido Vineyard Syrah

Bien Nacido is one of the oldest cool climate vineyards in California. Meaning “Well Born” in Spanish, the vineyard was planted on the historic site of the Rancho Tepusquet land in 1837. This site yields fruit with a profoundly aromatic and expressive character. Black and red crushed berry aromas with rosemary, lavender, slate, graphite, and pepper notes. Graceful across the palate, with layers of fruit, spice, herbs, and minerally graphite for an expressive texture.
