2023 Waypoint Grieve Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

Grieve Vineyard is located in Napa's remote Lovall Valley, a hilltop bowl straddling the Napa-Sonoma border. Here fog from nearby San Pablo Bay settles in from evening through midday, making it one of Napa Valley's coolest regions. First planted to grapes in 2000, this vineyard sits at 500–600 feet and requires longer hang-time and a later harvest. Aromatic and vibrant, this wine offers ripe green melon, nectarine and tropical fruits on the nose that further develop across a textured and mouth-filling palate. Balanced, yet pronounced acidity frame the flavors and lead to a long, refreshing finish.
