2023 Waypoint Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay

Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay, a testament to Kent Ritchie, who planted this vineyard in 1972 and still farms it today. Positioned on a northwest-facing slope, on sandy loam soils of the Russian River Valley. The presence of white volcanic ash and tufa, with the cool, daily fog cover results in fruit with notable minerality and lift. Vibrant, pretty white flower aromas and lemon curd lead to a mid-weight palate with apricot, crushed stone, and textural, creamy nuances. Long, bright finish.
