Tasting Notes

Appetizing acidity and a green-apple flavor liven up this medium-bodied, well-balanced wine that will suit lots of different occasions. Its freshness comes with subtle complexities that call for one sip after another.

Vineyard

Since its establishment in 1982, the Charles Heintz Vineyard has emerged as a venerable name synonymous with the epitome of California Chardonnay. For over three decades, these vines have been hailed for their remarkable quality, crafting wines that embody the traditional Sonoma terroir that brought attention to the region. Planted on the Gold Ridge Sandy Loam top-soils, the grapes ripen slowly, cooled each evening by the fog that rolls in from the nearby Pacific ocean. This gradual ripening process results in wines of impeccable balance with fully developed flavors and refreshing acidity.
