Bell Road Vineyard

Muscat

This is a dry white wine with an intriguing bouquet that captures the essence of Amador County. The texture is velvety while maintaining a refreshing vitality that awakens the palate. The dry style allows the natural candied element of the varietal to shine, while a zesty citrus backbone keeps the wine perfectly balanced.

Tasting Notes

A beautiful, lean, and crystalline white from a 5-acre parcel of 25-30-year-old Orange Muscat growing in California’s Amador County. Pretty orange blossoms intermix with honeysuckle and lychee. Has excellent grip and tension, as opposed to any lusciousness. Mineral-driven and refreshing, the grapes are sourced from the Bell Road vineyard in Amador County on the Renwood Ranch, aged 70% in stainless steel and 30% in new French oak puncheons.
