Tasting Notes

A beautiful, lean, and crystalline white from a 5-acre parcel of 25-30-year-old Orange Muscat growing in California’s Amador County. Pretty orange blossoms intermix with honeysuckle and lychee. Has excellent grip and tension, as opposed to any lusciousness. Mineral-driven and refreshing, the grapes are sourced from the Bell Road vineyard in Amador County on the Renwood Ranch, aged 70% in stainless steel and 30% in new French oak puncheons.

Nestled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Bell Road Vineyard has a long-standing tradition of cultivating robust Muscat vines in Amador County. Surrounded by the picturesque beauty of rolling hills, vineyards, towering oak trees, and the serene Steiner Pond, the vineyard offers a captivating setting. Each bottle of wine from Bell Road Vineyard is an invitation to explore a fragrant garden, where the vineyard’s meticulous attention to detail is evident in wines that strike a harmonious balance between delicacy and power.
